Shahsavarifard, Mohammad; Bibeau, Eric Louis 2014-11-28 Dataset includes power and thrust coefficients of a 19.8 cm diameter horizontal axis hydrokinetic model turbine in yaw operation. Tests were done at 0.7, 0.9, and 1.1 m/s water speeds for three turbine configurations: the unshrouded turbine and the turbine with two different shrouds. Experiments were done for yaw angles from 5° to 25° in 5° intervals. Output power of the turbine and its thrust force are measured experimentally in a water tunnel. Results are corrected using a theoretical model that accounts for free surface proximity and blockage effects of the water tunnel.

Shahsavarifard, Mohammad; Bibeau, Eric Louis 2014-03-31 Please see the description file on details of the experiment. Dataset includes power and thrust coefficients of a 19.8 cm diameter horizontal axis hydrokinetic model turbine measured experimentally in a water tunnel. Tests are done at 0.7, 0.9, and 1.1 m/s water speeds for three turbine configurations: turbine blade alone and then with two shrouds. Output power of the turbine and its thrust force are measured experimentally. Results are corrected using a theoretical model that accounts for free surface proximity and blockage effects of the water tunnel.

Gaden, David L. F.; Bibeau, Eric L. 2013-09-26 This constitutes original code written by David L. F. Gaden under supervision of Dr. Eric L. Bibeau. The latest of these versions is available at GitHub, https://github.com/Marupio A variety of extensions to OpenFOAM including: equationReader, which allows you to read user-entered equations from input files, and multiSolver, which allows you to run multiple solvers on a single dataset.

Map search instructions

1.Turn on the map filter by clicking the “Limit by map area” toggle.
2.Move the map to display your area of interest. Holding the shift key and clicking to draw a box allows for zooming in on a specific area. Search results change as the map moves.
3.Access a record by clicking on an item in the search results or by clicking on a location pin and the linked record title.
Note: Clusters are intended to provide a visual preview of data location. Because there is a maximum of 1000 records displayed on the map, they may not be a completely accurate reflection of the total number of search results.
