Natural Resources Canada | Ressources naturelles Canada
Natural Resources Canada | Ressources naturelles Canada Gravity anomaly data show variations in the gravity field caused by lateral variations in the density of the Earth's crust and upper mantle that reflect variations in composition and thickness. Systematic gravity mapping began in Canada in 1944 and is ongoing. All data are tied to the International Gravity Standardization Network 1971. Local gravity anomalies result from the juxtaposition of relatively high- and low-density rock types. Longer wavelength anomalies such as the gravity low over the Cordillera and the relative gravity high over oceanic crust largely reflect variations in the thickness of the crust.

Cheung, Melissa; Sahadath, Catie; Labelle, Patrick; McEwan, Jessica; Sikora, Lindsey 2016 This data set contains the University of Ottawa Research Data Management survey results. The results have been curated, and some values have been amalgamated to protect respondents' confidentiality and privacy. The questions can be found in the sheet labeled "Questions". The survey was administered in 2016 and 2017 to faculty in the Social Sciences, Humanities, Education, Law, Management, Health Sciences, Medicine, Sciences, and Engineering. Both the data set and the questions asked in each survey are available in the .xls spreadsheet. The sheet labelled "Data" contains the data. The sheet labelled "Questions" pairs the English questions in each of the three surveys with their corresponding variable names.

Map search instructions

1.Turn on the map filter by clicking the “Limit by map area” toggle.
2.Move the map to display your area of interest. Holding the shift key and clicking to draw a box allows for zooming in on a specific area. Search results change as the map moves.
3.Access a record by clicking on an item in the search results or by clicking on a location pin and the linked record title.
Note: Clusters are intended to provide a visual preview of data location. Because there is a maximum of 1000 records displayed on the map, they may not be a completely accurate reflection of the total number of search results.
