FAST & the FRDR Reconciliation Data

Turp, Clara; Olson, Leanne; Stathis, Kelly; Bone, Christine — This dataset contains 8,000 English keyword terms harvested by the Federated Research Data Repository (FRDR) prior to 2019 and their mappings to the Faceted Application of Subject Terminology (FAST). This work was completed by the FAST & the FRDR working group (part of the Portage Network) using a combination of automated and manual reconciliation techniques. After 8,000 harvested English keywords from FRDR were loaded into the OpenRefine project, automatic reconciliation to FAST terms was then applied within OpenRefine. To confirm automatic reconciliation results and to complete reconciliation for terms that could not be matched automatically, members of the FAST & the FRDR working group applied the matching procedures. Szechtman, Henry; Dvorkin-Gheva, Anna — This study (Q30) is one of a series of studies performed in the Szechtman lab at McMaster University and deposited in the FRDR public repository as a collection under the name "A Digital Library of Behavioural Performance in Standardized Conditions - Szechtman Lab Collection". This collection as a whole constitutes a big dataset containing raw data objects of video, track, and path plot records of rats exploring for 55 minutes a large testing environment in a standardized paradigm during chronic treatment with psychostimulant drugs; for details of this big dataset see, https://www.frdr-dfdr.ca/repo/collection/szechtmanlab. The historical context for study Q30 was Project_03 entitled: "Pharmacology of sensitization and compulsive checking". Title of the first experiment in Q30 was "Effect of QNP dose (0 0.125 0.25 and 0.5 mg/kg) on the development of sensitization and compulsive checking (batch 1)". The title of the second experiment, which was a replication but with additional doses of quinpirole, was "Effect of QNP dose (0 0.0312 0.0625 0.125 0.25 and 0.5 mg/kg) on the development of sensitization and compulsive checking (batch 2)". https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
