Holbrook, Anne Marie; Garcia, Michael 2021-10-12 Table 1 lists all of the medications on the ‘Known Risk’ subset of the CredibleMeds list of medications that can prolong the QT-interval. These are classified according to ATC (by WHO) coding therapeutic class and by name. Not all of these medications are available on the Canadian market. This list was current as of March 2021. Table 2 is a list of all main variables required for the QTP-MAC study, which part of Dovetale-Epic they should be available from, a description of the variable, with attached codes and coding system, where known. This list is not finalized and a draft as of September 2021.

Parsons, Sean 2017-08-08 Strain waves are propagating changes in the interval between contraction waves in the small intestine, usually associated with a wave termination or dislocation. These GIF animations are interpolations between diameter maps (DMaps), which show contractions, and corresponding interval maps (IMaps), which show contraction intervals. The maps are spatiotemporal, showing time running horizontally and distance along the intestine vertically. DMap to IMap transitions were created in ImageJ by linear interpolation of the RGB values between the maps to create a stack of RGB images which was then converted to an 8-bit color indexed GIF format. The GIF image names correspond to figure numbers/panels in the manuscript. GIFs can be played in most movie players (Quicktime, Windows Media, etc) and opened for frame by frame viewing in most image software in (ImageJ, Photoshop, etc).

Johnstone, Jennie 2014-08-15 These data helped to determine whether immune phenotypes associated with immunosenescence predicted risk of respiratory viral infection in elderly nursing home residents. To this end, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were obtained and analysed by flow cytometry for T-regs, CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell subsets (naive [CCR7+CD45RA+], terminally differentiated [CCR7-CD45RA+] and senescent [CD28-CD57+]) and CMV-reactive CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells. We hypothesized that the following immune phenotypes associated with immunosenescence would be associated with increased risk of infection: low CD4+ and CD8+ naïve T-cells and high CD4+ and CD8+ terminally differentiated and senescent T-cells as well as high CMV-reactive CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells and high T-regs. Low was defined as immune phenotypes in the first quartile of the distribution and high was defined as immune phenotypes in the fourth quartile of the distribution. Nasopharyngeal swabs were obtained and tested for viruses in symptomatic residents. Models were adjusted for age, sex and frailty.

AlShenaiber, Leena; Tam, Audrey; Houpt, Noah; Fraschetti, Ariana 2017-12-08 Provided within this dataset is a research notebook, data, and audio files that were generated as part of a third-year Integrated Science project regarding the communication of climate change science on social media. This research was done to ascertain whether the transition from traditional news mediums to social news mediums has the potential to thin the divide between the scientific consensus on climate change and the public's perception of climate change science. Primary data was collected form the social media platform, Twitter, and a literature review was performed to answer this research question. The primary research revealed where influence resides on Twitter while the literature review incorporated psychological factors, factors related to social media algorithms, and the influence of journalistic norms.
