Weise, Karl 2021-08-10 Please see the ReadMe file for more information. Raw environmental DNA (eDNA) data from Haliburton County, ON analyzed to determine species positive, negative, and non-detections. File uses the limit of detection (LOD) calculated with cited R code to determine detection quantity thresholds for positive detections. Laboratory analysis standards are also included for quality assurance purposes.

Richards-Thomas, T. 2020-03-19 The datasets show a summary of the horizontal (drift) and vertical velocities sampled by a laser Doppler anemometer in the Trent University Environmental Wind Tunnel, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, as well as the particle characterization obtained between 2017 and 2019. The datasets are related to Chapter 5 of the doctoral thesis dissertation titled Icelandic Dust Entrainment, Emission, and Deposition by Tamar Richards-Thomas, 2020.

Richards-Thomas, T. 2020-03-19 The data shows the particle characteristics analysis of Icelandic dust sources, which are volcanic ash and glaciogenic sediments, obtained between 2017 and 2019. All data files presented here are related to Chapter 2 of the doctoral thesis dissertation titled Icelandic Dust Entrainment, Emission, and Deposition by Tamar Richards-Thomas, 2020.

Richards-Thomas, T 2020-06-29 The data files available here contain the concentrations of particulate matter less than or equal to 10 µm (PM10), as well as the emission rates, measured at varying wind speeds for freshly deposited Eyjafjallajökull ash and glaciogenic dust in wind tunnel simulations performed in 2018. A dataset for the particle characteristics (size, density, and surface area) collected between 2017 and 2018 for all samples is also provided. Five Icelandic samples were used to perform these experiments: Ash, Mixed, Glacio1, Glacio2, and Glacio3. The experiments were performed in Trent Environmental Wind Tunnel, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, K9J 7B8.

Trent University Library Maps, Data & Government Information Centre 2016-06-21 The Trent Wildlife Sanctuary Blue Trail is located at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The trail is used to support teaching and research at Trent and for walking and cross-country skiing. No bicycles or motorized vehicles are permitted. Files include trail segments and trail heads. To create these files Trent Library Maps, Data & Government Information Centre collected differential GPS data and verified and edited these data against Ontario Provincial imagery and base data. Data collection period: May 27 through June 21, 2016. GPS Unit: Geneq SXBlue II + GPS Field computer: Gene Nomad 800LC Nominal horizontal accuracy of GPS unit: sub-60 cm Actual accuracy achieved: Under 2m to under 5m GPS Data collection period: May 27 through June 21 2016 Geometry verified and corrected where possible using Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources & Forestry SCOOP 2013 and DRAPE 2008 imagery and base data
